I have been with IBC Bank (formerly Local Oklahoma Bank) for more than 8 years. They have charged me unwarranted and possibly illegal overdraft charges by using what they term "setting aside funds". I charged an amount using my debit card leaving enough funds for future transactions. I then charged again still leaving a positive balance. When I checked my balance, it was still positive. The next day, I was charged with 2 overdraft charges of $29.00 each. Their reason, was that every time I swap my card, they set aside that funds for pending payment. However, those pending payments when posted to my account showed positive balance but another pending payment resulting in a "set aside funds" resulted in overdraft fees, even though the balances after those two transactions were still positive. Banks cannot post anything to your account until reconciled, just as they put a hold on your check for collection before you can withdraw it if you don not have funds to cover the check. IBC transactions initiating overdraft are very crafty and need serious review and a class action lawsuit filed.
