First they called my house, a man with an Indian accent, saying he is from Law Firm, could hardly understand the name of the law firm he said he was from, kept cutting in and out. He said I had gotten a loan from Cashnet Bank, and that I got it through my bank (not going to say who I bank with), and that I got the loan, but when it was time for me to pay them back, he said I did not have any funds in my account when it was time to pay back Cashnet Bank.
This is not true... I have never had a loan from "Cashnet Bank", of course I have had a loan from another facility similar to that name "Cashnet Bank". I paid it off that's for sure.
He said I have your bank name you got the loan out of, I have your co-worker's name and phone that you used as a reference on this defaulted loan. And on and on, he had information on me that was correct and all that!
Before he could go on, I told him "I believe you guys are frauds, scammers!" Send me to court, send me documentation on this supposed loan I got from Cashnet Bank! And then I hung up.
I did not get so far as to talking to him as to how to resolve this, but I do know one thing... He probably would have asked for money... Money... Money!
