Pete Gottschelk contacted my Grandmother and Grandfather, must have gotten their information off of some sort of Military records or even something from Social Security, and promised them an opportunity of a lifetime. It sounded great. He would do a reverse mortgage enabling them to have money to last them the rest of their life in exchange for the house when they passed away. I spoke with my grandparents about it and needless to say in this economy they were having problems paying for their prescriptions (grandma) and g-pa was having a problem keeping up with the daily bills and preparing for Christmas. We thought it was a dream come true when Pete Gottschelk contacted them (promising them money by before Christmas). Well needless to say he was a wolf in sheeps clothing. Pete talked a good game and long story short he walked my g-parents through a very extravagant process and ending up taking them for close to $600 in costs and fees. He never followed through on any promises and he openly admits he will not refund the money and because he could not get them Qualified this is the cost of doing business. It is sick that someone would PREY ON THE ELDERLY and SOMEONE THAT WAS PREPARED TO DIE FOR THIS COUNTRY. And he took them for a measly $600 which I paid them with the money I had set aside for my children's Christmas Presents. I wish Pete could explain to my kids why there is no CHRISTMAS this year so their Great grandparents didn't have to have their electricity turned off. This guy should be shut down immediately. This is just the beginning of what I'm prepared to do to make sure he doesnt do this to anyone else
