A couple of months back I had been handled with a doctor and had many blood tests done. At that time of this visit, he'd described there will be a $149 out-of-pocket cost for many screening, and that I was handed supplies required for distributing 4 timed spit and urine samples - along side paperwork displaying prepayment of $149.
Between my man being unemployed for over 2 yrs and myself today on outstanding medical leave, I decided to not follow that area of the screening. Other bloodwork could be coated, or even entirely, atleast considerably. I've exceptional protection through Brigham and Women's Clinic.
I ultimately obtained a statement from Genova Diagnostics for roughly $650. I wrote back twice, supplying all insurance info, telling them of my finances and respectfully wanted they bill my insurance company. I'm, obviously, prepared to spend any co-payment due, when I do contemplate that my obligation.
Despite much again-and-forth conversation, Genova Diagnostics will not statement my insurance plan till I send cost of $149 - since that's their coverage based on their "PayAssurance" strategy. I never closed any paperwork with Genova Diagnostics accepting to take part in this "PayAssurance" strategy.
Though I'd stated I'd spend in payments with this unagreed upon, they're requiring cost prior to the end-of this month. Hello, who must consume, never mind having some little holiday party in this challenging period.
I find their heavy handed selection exercise dispicably selfish. Wouldn't it genuinely have restricted them to statement my insurance just before lining their pockets even more? Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ma and Brigham and Women's Clinic (Ma) are trustworthy businesses.
I wonder why they transformed their title from Great Smokies Diagnostic Laboratory. Can it perhaps have now been due to a poor status? I don't understand, but wouldn't be amazed.
