Fairbanks Capital Corp, Lied and stated that i owed them monies on my acct, which i was current on, but had misplaced my receipts, i caught them in a lie by find some receipts for many months they were saying i was behind.
Afterall who lets a person go a year without a payment never contacting them or anything... That's when it first started i received letter that i haven't made a payment in a year from them which was very untrue.
So the months they claimed i was behind i found many receipts for that month, however they had all these late charges assessed to my acct. For a complete year, and put my acct in default status, in order to save my house they placed me on some program...
Where i had to almost double my payment a month for over a year, i managed to do that for a good 7 months but found it very hard on me financially. So i called them advised them i couldn't continue that. They threated to take my home that i had invested so much money and time into my only hope was to file for Bankruptcy.
Still doing that they lied and came up with figures unheard of for my acct, that stated that i've owed them back payments for years and years, plus all the attorney cost, made my bankruptcuy payments sky high, so i couldn't really keep up with the bankruptcy payments, my Chpt 13 was just dismissed 5.
So here i am, trying to get up a few thousand dollars to refile a chpt 13 to save my home, due to my parent's who are very elderly and sickly live with me, and haven't a place to go...
On top of it all even before i filed bakruptcy i had a collection agent call my house from Fairbanks, who got my mom on the other end, and advised my mom to pack her bags, that the home was being taken from me. My Mom got upset and had a heart attack. I found out later that evening what had brought on the heart attack, called fairbanks and all they did was take the woman that had called my home off my file.
I argued with them that the Mortgage was in my name and my name alone, she had no business discussing anything with my parent's since they wasn't on my note... But the guy was very rude i spoke to and just said that he would remove Carmen i believe her name was off my file and place someone else on it.
Thanks so much for listening to my story, I pray that they can be stopped I can only imagine that if they've done me in this manner, just think of all the others esspecially elderly human beings...
