Fairbank Captial is the company from hell, I cannot beleive that all this is going on with this company. But my question is what are they going to about this. If you are like us everyone says to report it, but to whom? If filing chapter 13 will not help you stay out of foreclosure than what is your option here?
Of course we started out as first time buyers the company was Home EQ, however later we were sent a letter stating that it was being sold to Fairbank. Every since then we don't have a clue of what's going on except we know that we do not owe all these late fees.
We have signed 3 forebearance agreements with this company to try to save our home from being sold. We were told that we owe back pay and of course attorney fees of 1800.00 for filing these papers. I can't see it. Not to mention we already had insurance and they kept charging us for it.
In October of last year I filed a claim on my house for storm damages, the check was sent to me by my Insurance Co. Of course Fairbank had to endorse it before cashing, I sent it off to them for a signature and until this day I still have not gotten my check back. If I told you all the bullcrap they told me over the phone I would take up the hole internet site. They need to be stopped.
This is america and i know someone has the power to help all of us. I say bush don't worry about iraq now, lets take care home. Its alot of people that need your help here. And one more thing everyone one should be able to keep there house, if the federal trade commision is aware of this do something to help us immediately these fools are winning the war.
