I ordered the free trial of the acai berry detox and life cleanse on the 7/10/09, on the webpage it was a special offer that day only pay 99p shipping and handling so I jumped at the great offer, unfortunatley I didn't read the terms and conditions properly. When I checked my online banking on thee 9/10/09 I discovered I had been charged £4.24 handling and shipping for each item also a £1.50 charge on top of that. I went back onto the webpage and read the terms and conditions and discovered about the 15 day cancellation which I have been trying to do without much success. I checked my bank account again on the 24/10/09 and found out that smarthealth 35 924 917 4 GB had taken out £74.49 aswell as £1.50 charge. On the same day agedefy 39 064 523 0 GB had taken out the same amounts and charges, I am at my wits end I have been calling numbers on the webpage but had no luck, I got through to one of the numbers I found and was told that my account was closed on November 08. I didn't have an account with this company last year, if I did I wouldn't be daft enough to join them again. I am now going to talk to my bank to see if they can cancel from this end so they will be able to stop money from being deducted by those scammers. Any helpful advice or tips would be most welcome.
