I used the DirectMatches service for over a year. It is a monthly subscription service. The service delivered everything it was supposed to. I felt the benefits of this service were not suitable for the direction I wanted to take my business. I decided to cancel my account and monthly subscription fee.
The cancellation process involved phoning the company during their office hours, and receiving a confirmation call. I did my part, and they responded with a confirmation call, and ensured me the account was canceled.
Unfortunately they have continued to charge their monthly fee to my credit card.in my books this is simply fraud. I tried contacting them to resolve the matter, but I can't log into my canceled account... Because the account no longer exists and the login is rejected as an invalid login. I tried phoning the number listed as their contact number associated with their domain registration. I get a recording: "We're sorry, the number you have dialed is not in service"...
The only other contact avenue I have is: "[email protected]" I wrote them over 2 months ago to inquire why my account still seems to be active after canceling the subscription... They chose to ignore my response. I also included in my inquiry that I'd be persuing this matter further, should they continue to charge my credit card, not having authorization or permission to do so.
Well, here I am, willing to do lots of publicity for yet another company that likes monthly subscriptions, but does not like to honour their own Canellation Policies or proceedures. I'd call them scum, but I really don't feel they deserve to be complimented.
