Mistreated and ripped off

I have been a customer with Direct Merchants Bank for approximately 8 years. I had my percentage rate at 5.7%. With a percentage rate that low I transferred the balances of my other credit cards to your card and cancelled my other cards. What a mistake!!! They did a credit review on my account, which to my recollection has never been done before, and my percentage rate is now 12.99%. I am furious!!!

The representative said that they reviewed my credit and their decision was based on that. Well, obviously they didnt take into consideration that we just recently re-financed our home and all 3 mortgage companies are probably still reflected on the report or that my credit has not been updated since the pay-off of several loans (vehicle and personal). About a year or 2 ago, I was such a good customer that you even upgraded me to a Platinum Card. I guess that I was a good customer then, but not now, huh?
