Wells Fargo Credit Care Services
Company has specialized in fraud, deceptive practices, and other predatory behaviors

In August I first realized I was in grave financial trouble. I inquired about a hardship program, was provided the information and accepted the terms. When Wells Fargo failed to use the automatic debit arrangements, I sent a payment and a letter. I was contacted by a representative, Lacey, in October who said I did not make enough money to qualify for the hardship program.By September I was being bombarded with inflated bills and payments including mortgage payments, credit card payments, insurance payments, utility bills, etc. The sad consequence of this is that I had resorted to my credit cards to make ends meet and quickly accrued a substantial debt. I made payment arrangements with Wells Fargo on a number of occasions, some by telephone and others by mail. Due to a February payment being lost in the mail and not received on schedule, the payment was not posted to the account until February 23.in a conversation with a Wells Fargo Representative, Lisa, I was assured there would not be a late fee assessment and my account would remain current, however this did not happen. A letter was sent to me the first week of March advising I needed to send $329.00.in a telephone conversation I had with an account representative I was advised it was too bad but they could not honor the agreement.in a letter dated May I was advised to send $15.00 and my account would be current. I did so but was called later in the month at my employers and told I had to send in $307.00. He would not take into account my current standard of living and the people that depended on me for roof and shelter and medical needs. I was at that time 2 months behind on my mortgage payments and gas prices were skyrocketing. I stated that I had previously asked not to be contacted at work as personal calls were not allowed and would he call me at home after 7pm. The representative told me he would call me any damn time, anywhere until I made my payments. Even after making payment arrangements, I was told I will call you everyday until the debt is paid. Not only is this unfair, but also unreasonable. There would be a dozen calls on my caller ID from Wells Fargo in a single day with no messages left. This went on for weeks every day without fail. On numerous occasions I would talk to a representative in the morning before I left for work, making payment arrangements, and continue to be called at work and at home throughout the day. I was not always provided a callers name, just that they were calling from Wells Fargo. Often the same voice in a day would provide different names. I sent a letter in June advising of my continued financial distress and arrangements to resume payments in August. Unfortunately, I was unable to send the promised payment and then September 4, one of my younger brothers died suddenly. When I explained to the representative what had happened, the office staff in the background started laughing. September 17 I wrote and sent a letter for consideration in settling the debt. As I have received settlement offers from other financial institutions, I felt I would be successful with Wells Fargo. I received no response from the offer of settlement.in November, a woman called my home and left a message that I could not send Wells Fargo any payments. They were persecuting me for my fraudulent accounts. As this person left no name, I tried to speak with someone at Wells Fargo and at the Attorneys number I was subsequently given and was told someone would call me back. No call was ever received. The implication that I committed a crime was made. Wells Fargo seemed to intentionally wish to inflict emotional distress with their actions. I have suffered much stress, insomnia, headaches, anxiety, fear, worry and irritability. Then they took me to court and the judge allowed them their judgement against me. The agreement is a legal and binding document, but then again the judge allowed them to change that document without notification because it was a company wide change. Six months later they demanded higher payments with no regards to everything else I had to pay. When I spoke with collections she said just continue to make your payments as they are. Little did I know, Wells Fargo had already started garnishment proceedings. I was able to secure some funds by the grace of my Dad, and pay the settlement offer I requested by the 9th. They received these funds on the 6th. On the 9th I received the garnishment summons and my check returned. I didnt even want the credit cards, they hounded me week after week for over a year to take them, so I did just to stop the calls.
