Global Financial called me saying I had prequalified for a Visa or Mastercard and told me about all of these great gifts that would be sent to me in my introductory package plus the $100 gas rebate (he said it wasn't a coupon, but an actual rebate) and the $500 in grocery coupons, and a free stay at a hotel after I paid the 229.95 registration fee.
I PAID it like a fool and now Im screwed. They went thru this whole bs verification process and "recorded" my authorization of the use of my CC to acquire my funds. Of course I received nothing! I tracked down various phone numbers on the company throught the internet, but to no avail. Because once you call and leave a message... Your telephone number is logged into their computer bank and all you will get is a busy signal for 24 hours a day.
I have filed a complaint with the Atlanta Georgia, Better Business Bureau, who have turned my file over to the governors office Of Consumer Affairs for the state of Georgia. The Better Business Bureau told me because of the nature and volume of complaints and the way they handle complaints that they are no longer handling complaints for this company. It has been over six months and their has been no follow through to my complaint.
Now I am going to file a complaint with the FCC and try the information I found here on the consumer complaintss suggestions to get my money back.
Hopefully someone will catch these rip offs and put them away for a long... Long time.
