I knew it was too good to be true. After searching for possible loan scams in Michigan, my worst fears became true. I WAS SCAMMED!
The details are almost identical to other rip off complaints filed for Royal Oak Financial Group. They called with details a loan had been approved. I asked the lady who called with this information (Glenna Milner) to email the details of the loan and she did. I printed them out and looked them over. The makeup of the loan agreement and disclosure looked ODD, from past loans I have had. I also noticed they wanted the same insurance funds sent up front as security for the loan. I have NEVER paid a fee upfront for a loan in any circumstance. RED Flag there.
What makes this different is because I did not have the funds to pay the fee upfront, or would pay them, they said the loan was approved pending an approved a co-signor. So I asked a friend if he would and they would contact him.
What I dont know yet is what info they requested from my friend who would cosign. Upon numerous attempts to contact them on the status of the loan, I always got a voice mail, or it would not even leave a voice mail message. Also the email address for the contact person, all email was returned UNDELIVERABLE. The phone syatem also would never produce a live operator using the prompts.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! These people are bogus. They will get reported to all concerned. Stay away from this company!!!
