My boyfriend and I saw this ad for a work at home opportunity with google and decided to give it a try. We thought it was legit because it was affiliated with Google and there was an article in the newspaper (Daily Tribune) about it. It was also mentioned on CNN money website as well. To make a long story short, we signed up and the were only supposed to get charged 99 cents, but when i checked my account, I was not only charged $1.97, but also $29.01. When I called the number, it said to call back during normal business hours. I will do that and hopefully get my money back. I will also be contacting my bank first thing Monday morning so that I can stop the pending transaction. I just want to warn people that this is a scam, fraud, lie, etc. There is no money to be made and all they do is take your money. Do not sign up for this, do not enter credit card info at all. Do not even consider it. If anyone can help me get my money back, please do so.
