In California Loan modification scam! How can they get away with this? Mission Viejo

First Premier Capital sounded like a legitimate company. They advertised on a high profile radio station. They seemed professional upfront and required all the necessary documentation to pursue a loan modification. But once they received the $1500 fee, the became unprofessional and sleezy.

They appear to have now gone out of business. The phone number is out of service and no forwarding number provided. My modification was declined and since they are now out of business, I am unable to obtain my 1/2 refund.

I should have trusted my instinct!!!
