This started in 2004 and ended in 2005. Robin Thompson on behalf of PWE&F requested an initial working fund of $15,000. We settled for $5,000. After several contact with a "Canadian investor" were unfruitful, he contacted a Mr. Steve Amoako, who was suppose to be with Citimutual. His request through PWE&F was for a escrow account in the amount of $150,000.
PWE&F agreed to split that amount with SFSFASTEEL for future consideration. I raised and placed with PWE&F $40,000 to be put in the escrow account. I then raised and additional $35,000 to be placed in the same account.
Before placing the money with PWE&F I called the bank to check on the account. The bank manager at that time informed me that there was less than $5,000 left in the account and most of the money had been tranfered to casinos in Las Vegas.
I confronted Robin with these facts. He became very angry. Told me it was none of my business what he did with the money. He threatened to sue the bank and me.
I did not place the $35,000 with PWE&F. They billed me for an additional $15,000, which I did not pay. I contacted local law enforcement and the FBI. None wanted to get involved because the amount was too small. $40,000. I did not have the additional capital to hire a lawyer to go after him in civil court. BBB wanted "proof" of fraud, which could only be established court.
