On 7/31/09 I received a notice that Chase had closed my credit card account. Like others, the reasons stated were completely bogus. I called the number on the letter and was read the letter I received verbatim. I was then asked to order a copy of my credit report and then fax it to them for review. Uh hello!? Isn't that supposedly what made you cancel/close my account? Anyway, I've done some research and thought that if we all got together and filed a complaint with the Comptroller of the Currency Administrator of National Banks, they are the ones that regulation Chase, then maybe something would happen. Please, please, please file a complaint with them: http://www.helpwithmybank. Gov/complaints/index.html
