Dirty ripoff liars

I think that I have dealt with NCO a few months ago with an MBNA account. They were yelling at me, laughing at me and on one occasion called me stupid. After that, i gave them my lawyer's phone number and told them that if they were lawyers (which they claimed to be) then they knew they had to cease communication with me and could only call the lawyer. It also helped that when my dad called them to try and settle the situation, his work number came up on call id. He works for the U.S. Attorney's office and the name comes up as GOV svc on call id.

Now they're calling me again about my AT&T account. I told the one guy i was recording him and he hung up. I called back and they kept hanging up. Finally, one guy answered. I told him i was recording and he told me i couldn't. I argued with him that the fdcpa allows for me to do this and so does my state. He said i had to have written consent from them to record. Bull. So i pretended to quit recording. I told him i've dealt with them before and that they had my lawyer's number and unless they wanted the fc and ftc involved they needed to quit calling me. He told me i had to send this in writing. I asked for the mailing address. He wouldn't give it to me. He wouldn't even tell me which state they were located in.

He told me i owed 800$ or so. I told him i wasn't working and had no money. He told me he was going to mark my account as "refusal to pay." i never said that. God knows, if we had the money, we'd all pay just to stop these stupid phonecalls. But after reading the posts you all have written about how you paid and they screwed you over or kept saying you owed anyway, i'm not giving them a cent. The only thing they'll get from me is a phonecall from my lawyer and then we'll see what else i can do. I owe the money on the MBNA and the AT&T but there's no way i'm trusting them at this point to handle it professionally. Hell, i already have a crappy credit report.

Does anyone else have MBNA or AT&T accounts handled by NCO?

Thankyou
