Does not stand behind their check approvals

I used Tele Check last year to confirm approval of a $250 check for merchandise purchased in my store. It was returned due to NSF. When I filled out the paper work and sent it in to Tele Check to receive my compensation, they refused on the grounds that I forgot to give them a copy of the back side of the returned check. Case closed, I lost out on $250.

Last month we received approval on a check for $120. When I tried to deposit it my bank refused because the account had been closed for 3 years. I had the teller write on the check, "Account Closed" and initial it. I sent it in for reimbursement and again, they sent it back saying they couldn't honor it because there was no proof that I had attempted to deposit it and they would not be able to reimburse me.

After spending about an hour on the phone trying to reach someone who could help me, they said if I had my bank stamp it and send it back in they may be able to honor it. Well my bank doesn't have such a stamp. That's done back east in their processing center. I'm going to explain this and try one more time but I have lost faith in this company to stand behind their promises.
