I had the same thing happen as everyone else here. They called and told me I had qualifed for a $2,000 Gold Visa and they just needed a $249 debit of my checking account to complete. I very hesitantly agreed. I was told it would be to me in 10 business days.
After 13 business days, I called and then then said it was supposed to be 15 business days, and I was told wrong the first time. I waited 18 days and called again, I was told 20 business days. I freaked on them at this time and told them I thought this was a scam! She insisted it was not. 20 business days later I got this package with a bunch of "coupons" and credit help. I wanted and ordered none of that.
I could not get a hold of them when I got the package, the 800 line was always busy, except when they were closed. I demanded my money back, they said they do not give refunds. I told them I filed a complaint with the FTC and New Jersey Attorney Generals office. I am all for a class action suit against them!
