After 2 1/2 years of my mother's death we get a collection bill for the ambulance that took my mother from a facility to the hospital

Our mom was moved from the rehabilitation service on 2/28/07 by American Medical Reaction To a clinic where she died. My dad never obtained a statement out of this organization. Nowadays we obtained an assortment company notice (Bay Area Credit Support).in speaking with AMR a statement was delivered to the service and delivered. I attempted to obtain data from her insurance compensation to determine if it had been compensated or posted plus they couldn't provide me-any data since I'm not approved and didn't have her card range (we donot have any data trigger it's been such a long time) I actually donot understand where you can change. I did so deliver a notice of challenge. What must I do? Joan
