After merging with Nations Bank, Bank of America started to add late fees to a closed account and then reported the resulting overdraft to Chex Systems which has made it nearly impossible for me to open a checking account.

I have repeatedly called Bank of America to straigten it out. Kenneth Lewis will not come on the telephone. His assistant repeatedly tells me she does not know where he is. The matter was handled by Tammy Hurst but she refused to provide complete documentation that I ever had an actice account with Bank of America, provide a copy of a single check drawn on Bank of America and has generally used the powers of the Bank of America to intimidate me into submission.

Bank of America has now filed a suit against me to stop me from ccontacting them and to stop me from coming within 500 feet of any of their branches. Yet they are not suing to recover the alledged overdraft because the statute of limitations has expired

Their attorney, Eric Scott Lipper has been outright uncooperative and is allowing his services to be used in their attempt to intimidate me into not disputing their credit reporting to ChexSystems.

Chex Systems is refused to take any corrective action, simply saying that they only report what they have been told by Bank of America and that my reports simply do not matter.
