Carson Lending Group Stephanie Barley 10.000 Loan 9.5% 60 Months Collateral Wired Money sent now requesting more prior to releashing funds Detriot

I too was contacted my Ms Stephanie Barley in regard to a loan in the amount of 10.000. Being that I needed the funds to get by bills in order I was rather excited about the prospect of being approved. The offer was as follows, I was to receive the loan amount once I sent in an Insurance collateral in the amount of 1550.00. She emailed the loans documents which stated that the APR would be 9.5% for 60 months with my monthly payments being set at 208.00 per month. I informed Stephanie that I would not be able to send in that amount at which point she informed me that it was okay and that I could still secure the loan by sending in half that amount. I agreed to send in the 775.00 and that the remaining 775.00 would be deducted from the loan amount. I informed her that I would be willing to do this as long as she could assure me that I would received the funds. I asked Stephanie to email me the particulars as to where I was to send the funds to secure the loan, at which point she informed be that it had to be sent via Western Union and that the individual I was to send it to was a Diana Grant in Victoria British Columbia, Canada. When asked why I would be sending it to in individual rather then the company, she informed me that Diana Grant was the lender.

Well, to make a long story short I sent the funds in via Western Union on Thursday evening and contacted Stephanie back with the MTCN code. Stephanie informed be that the funds would be released within 24 hours. The next day Friday I received a call from Stephanie stating that the Lender was requesting the second half of the insurance collateral prior to releasing the funds. I reminded Stephanie of our previous conversation in regard to this at which point she informed me that she did not have all of the information available when she informed me that I could pay half.

At this point I requested a refund of my money and she stated that she would submit the request and on Monday and that I should receive my refund my Friday of next week. I googled the company again and that is when I notice the Rip off report filed yesterday on this site. I have come to the conclusion that I was scammed and will not be getting my $775.00 back. However, if this can assist others from falling prey to these piranhas then it was worth the lost. I have files a fraud alert with Western Union fraud department as well as with my local DA office and the police department.
