I am now going through the same exact experience as Ms. Heather Seymour's reporting, "Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Making It Impossible For People To Save Their Homes". Though I have only just begun this agonizing experience.in all honesty I would have to say that they will probably only do to us what they did to her and her family.
This company has been unprofessional on all levels, not sending any payment stubs/booklets/invoices, no calls, very difficult to consult with... As stated YOU WILL WAIT AN HOUR OR MORE ON HOLD ONLY TO BE HUNG UP ON BY AN UNEDUCATED INDIVIDUAL.
They were given our hardship letters a few times over due to us experiencing temporary layoffs periodicly through out the year of end 2009. We still had employment ect. They seemed very helpful in their letters stating that we had options such as repayment, modification, and at worst a short sale forecloser & that a specialist would be in contact with me.
They claimed they didn't have any contact numbers for my family yet at closing they were provided with ~4~ numbers in which to reach us. So far I am putting in what could be close to 12 hours trying to maintain contact with them by tyring to get through and waiting average 1 hour to speak with someone.
Now here in June 11 I did finally have what I thought was a productive conversation with what I thought was a "specialist" in their loss mitigation department and we worked out what I thought was a repayment plan. I was given her direct number which I provided in the report and was told she would be calling me the next day after processing matters. I have been calling that direct number everyday now since, only to be hung up on or leave endless voice mails that never get returned.
At this point I am merely wanting the repayment plan they were working on to be put into writing so I don't go through what Ms. Heather Seymour had to go through. They claim these processings can take a while and in my situation a foreclosure is here in the mix of trying to become a reality. There for I don't need deputies coming to my home serving me foreclosure papers while I have the funds and means to keep my home.
What is wrong with this company? I did remind one lady that people who bought their homes in 2008 like us were granted $7,000.00 to become current on their mortgage loans. I have just had all my checks since January be sent back to me and we fell behind towards the middle of December.
Upon having check after check returned to me I contacted President Obama's HOPE foundation hot line, the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Affairs. Which I might add that all of these resources have a high enough % volume of complaints from this company to be a concerne.
At this point I just don't know what to do. We are a simple young family with 3 small beautiful children who love our new home that we have worked hard for and intend to keep and by all means have the employment ect. To maintain this dream. If we don't get some kind of relief from this unprofessional company I fear the worst.
By all means to fully understand the depth of this company's professionalism you must read Heather's report. I can not believe what they have done to that family and that is exactly what they are about to do to mine. Mostly due to them not doing the job correctly and or (fraudulently?! I have to wonder?!), along with not maintaining proper communications. Why should any family have to go through this for those reasons?
