Citi-finance is a mortgage company to which i have been steadily paying a substantial amount of money to, every month, for 12 years.
One month ago i lost my job.
I was offered a deferment of one months payment, and i gladly accepted.
This morning a lady by the name of Caroline called wanting to know when she could expect payment. Not having a job I had no answer.
She promptly informed me that she was revoking the deferment and commencing foreclosure.
I know that they are within the law to do this.
But i have never been spoken to like this in my life!
I am seriously considering letting it go.
Screw my credit.
Screw them!
The land and home is valued at 24k.
The loan has 52k remaining.
