On March 17th we recieved our cd letter of commitment for 400,000.00 dollars, after we wre required to pay 2990.00 in processing fees. Mr Tim Mahoney who has been our contact person, through the whole process, stated I needed to sign the contract and send it to the fax number listed on the paper.
We signed all the documents and included the bank account number and the information for our bank, once we did that we would recieve the cd deposit in my name with in ten days in my bank. We did so immediately. I have called all the numbers that are available to me, at least once a week since march 28th to each of the numbers listed, because we have not recieved any cd deposit of any kind, nor have they had any communicaton with my bank.
They have not returned any of my calls, what so ever, I contacted information to see if there was an actual number or listing for the company at the location they listed on there website, I was able to get through to the security company that manages the building, and they stated the company only uses them as a virtual office, and they forward any mail that comes to them to there actual physical address and they need to get permission to give out there address.
All addresses they have listed are not address's that are a physical address each has a virual office that is not able to give out there physical address. We have been ripped off we were trying to buy a very reputable buisness that was going to support a non profit horse ranch for childeren, that are victims of terminal illness, we had to give our whole buisness plan to this company before they sent any letter of committment, during that time we paid all the processing fee's and the fee's for inspection, and property and buisness assement, we set closing dates and paid our earnest money, after we recieved the letter of commitment for the funds to buy this property, since tim mahoney and the buisness office of International Monetary Funds stated we would have the funds in our account with in ten days, we were under the assumption, based on there written documents they sent us, that it was safe to set a closing date and do all things neccessary to obtain the property.
They never contacted us again, never deposited any money in the commitment, so not only did we loose the 2990.00 we gave them as part of our processing requirment, we also lost our earnest money plus the money we paid for the inspections and appraisels, because they time limit has well exceeded the date that we were promised our cd loan. They state if we are not able to get our bank to accept the cd program they have set up, they will refund our 2990.00 within fifteen days. Our bank was willing to accept there cd commitment in my name and we were well within our deadlines for all documentation to them. No one will return my calls nor respond to my emails.
