We were recently spammed about a website - lanzarotesociety-dot-com this resulted in some complaints, and questions from clients as they used the address elle@ as their Playa Blanca contact. We were asked whether we were involved in any way due to this. We strongly suspect they were trying to ride our own businesses credibility and reputation in doing this.
This may seem a small thing to some, but in our eyes it is not and we take this kind of deception very seriously.
We have worked long and hard in our business to create the reputation we have. It is not acceptable to us for someone to seemingly deceive people that we are involved in their dodgy businesses - we have not - we will not - and we will not ever associate ourselves with people like these.
The website is seemingly set up to obtain prospect information for a very disreputable business here in Lanzarote. Quill's Wills run by Simon and Jenny Harris.

It seems clear to me who is behind this website. I have emailed and asked that any links they have included on there to our sites be removed, and change the email address they are using to avoid any confusion - of course we have not got any reply.
The really worrying thing is that on the site it says that one of their aims is to represent the island of Lanzarote and it businesses Very worrying given the reputation of those involved. I would strongly urge you if ever considering doing business with this man or his associated companies to make sure you do thorough research. This thread on a local forum will give you a start.
