My husband and I became subcontractors with Origin December. We did not receive our first check until March after being told that our first check was supposed to be January 31. We received a total of two checks from them totaling about $250 which was the amount we paid to become subcontactors with the company. Furthermore, we never received all of our supplies as listed in the contract.
After calling numerous times about our previous and past checks, we were told by Howard (the payroll representative) that we will not be paid because of performance issues. I asked what type of performance issues because per our contract, the company is supposed to notify us if there is a performance issue so that we are able to correct them. We never received a call from them and furthermore we were cleaning our accounts as scheduled up until 5/19 which was the day that he said that we were terminated and will not
pay us.
They owe us over $500 in backpay and when I asked to see a screen print of the deductions as to why we will not receive anything he said no and we can get that at arburtration. Therefore, he refused to pay, refused to show us any cancellation letters from our clients, and refused to show us the deductions from pay. When they were confronted, he acted as if I was the bad person by threatening to call the police on me and told me to leave the office all because he could not generated a better excuse as to why we will not be paid other than "poor performance" as of the end of April. Ok, then where is our pay from January up until then? He cannot explain that!!
