Attached is a letter to the company regarding reasons for cancellation of contract and refusal to give refund. Company is a rip off!
I regret to inform you that your services provided by Request Carpet Cleaning Inc was terminated, 5, April. Your termination of contract with me is the result of poor performance as outlined below:
My first happy home package was purchased December 9th my second renewal to make sure I was ahead was November 21st and my past renewal was on September for the upcoming year.
My first happy home packaged was 219.95 quoted by Larry and Isabel, and Paid.
On my second contract I had paid Larry and Isabel $100.00 cash, and it was never recorded to my account. So I was ripped off on my second renewal due to the fact it was never reported, which actually means I paid $319.95 for my second renewal to Tony.
On my third renewal I called Nicole and my third contract was renewed on 21 September. I had two cleanings left on my second happy home contract. She spoke with Tony and you personally regarding the $219.95 which I was originally quoted by Larry and Isabel to renew my second happy home contract since I was a faithful customer since December to keep and honor. Nicole took 100.00 out of my Armed Forces Bank account on 1 October 50.00 out of my USAA Federal Savings Bank account on 2 November and 69.95 on 16 November. All of which you claim to have NO record of! Therefore, you have refused to give me my refund when asked for.
I am cancelling my contract with you because my carpets were cleaned poorly on 18 January, and I called back on 21 January to have them re-cleaned, but was told you were totally booked and couldnt fit me in until 1 Feb So on 1 February my carpets were redone, which I was charged and extra 80.00 for the tech to come clean up after the other techs lack of knowledge or training in how to properly clean carpets.
I called on I called on the 10th of March to have my carpets re-cleaned by the 1st of April, but I was treated rudely and poorly on the phone by Richard, and told that you were yet again booked until the 4th of April. I asked to be put down and was told I was down for a highlight at 1:00 pm on the 4th of April, and if there was a cancellation to be called before then so I could be put in to have them cleaned early due to the fact I had family from out of town coming in and needed my carpets cleaned. I received a phone call from your phone bank on March 20 telling me that Request was in the area cleaning carpets and wanted to know when I could be fit in as a new customer. I politely told the gentleman on the phone that I was already a customer and would appreciate the first available slot to have my carpets cleaned. I was told I would receive a phone call back and never did. On the 4th of April I waited until 1:30 to find out where the techs were and to confirm them were still coming. I was told that I was not on the schedule for any kind of services to be performed even after I spoke to you about this personally on the 10th of March. I asked if anyone was available and you said no, and that you were, totally booked. I told you that I was going to call another company to come and clean my carpets, and that I had renewed for my third happy home package, which you stated you have no records of and wanted proof that I paid, and refused to refund my money. I asked for your fax number so I could fax you the paperwork and you stated you dont have a fax machine, then when asked for the number again, you contradicted yourself stating your fax machine was broken then rambled off your address for the proof to be mailed to in a hurry so that I couldnt understand the address.
I spoke to you verbally about these issues twice on the phone on the 4th of April and you continued to be rude and uncompromising. As stated to you in our last conversation on the phone, you owe me a full refund for the third happy home package. Im attaching the statements showing where all three transactions came out of my account and the invoice from your company stating the amount paid. You have 30 days from the receipt of this letter to issue my refund to me in full before I proceed with legal action. Please be aware that copies of this letter, as well as all supporting documentation have been sent to my attorney, the Better Business Bureau, Rip off Reports.com and to every media source in El Paso County.
