Was just alerted by a snail mail package addressed to my mother that looked more like junk mail. On the envelop it read "Unless you cancel, Your credit card or other account will be charged."
The envelop was from "Essentials" and had instructions to go to essentials123.com or call their toll free number within 30 days to avoid the $119.95 "renewal of membership" I thought this was a scam to get people to responed and was going to throw it away.
After researching this and looking back through credit card records, I see these scumbags have been ripping off my mother for two years. She was charged 8/6/01 for $96.00 and 6/3/02 for $109.95. She does not know how they got her credit card. Why are these people allowed to continue to do this? They should be in jail.
