We started with Wells Fargo two month ago there appraisal came in at $275,000 I thought since rates were going down I wouldn't try someone else.
I picked Quicken Loans, they sent there appraiser out and he appraised our home for $250,000.
At that point I called and contested there appraisal, and they agreed to send out someone else there second appraisal came in at $280,000 very close to Wells Fargo
Our tax appraisal was at $269,500
Jeff from Quicken called me this evening and said they were using the lowest appraisal that the second appraiser did not use enough like homes (5 home sale) the first was the same number. So I guess I agree with Tracy this was a rip off and I like her want to get to the bottom of it.
