Do not use Consumer Financial Advisory Board to assist you in any financial problems. Call the Federal Trade Commission if you are solicited.
These people called my mother and told her that they would lower her interest rates for quite a large fee of $895.00. They set up a three-way conference call with herself, one of their "advisors", and someone supposedly from Bank of America. I had serious doubts and red flags as my mother described this company and what they were promising.
Bank of America does not communicate or do any business with this company to assist people with lowering interest rates.in fact, Bank of America has no record of the conference call because it was set up! Bank of America did a wonderful job handling the situation and informed me of these types of scams. They informed me that many of these companies are out of Florida and can never deliver what is promised. I called Bank of America right away to take care of the situation and the FBI. The FBI informed me to contact the Federal Trade Commission.
