I received my charge card statment and there was a charge for $79.95 for CIC Credit Monitor, like everyone else I requested the free credit report (yeah right). I called the company and asked to cancel this, because they didn't give me any further information. I even asked the person if this was a scam and he indicated he could not help me with out additional information. I gave it to him and he indicated my charge card will be credited. I told him it better happen. Within in seconds I received an e-mail stating they will cancel my so called membership and credit my charge card at a prorated amount. I guess I'll see if it happens. The phone number I called is 877-431-4175 (California) which was indicated on my charge card statement. Kay Middleton, Wisconsin
