This bank is ripping it's customers off. We had over $1400 in over draft charges taken from us. They would take all of the charges you did for the day and enter them as a lump sum, but then come back and charge all of them individually with an over draft charge.
Example: You have $200 in your account, you go to 7 different places for the day, doing some shopping. You have 7 different transactions that total $200.01. They process all of those transactions and one large amount, and since you went over by a penny, they come back and charge all 7 But, transactions with an overdraft fee, even though it hsould only be the last transaction that would be charged.
I went to the Attorney General out in Georgia I believe and filed a complaint about them. Didn't hear back for a couple of weeks, and finally received a check directly from Compass Bank for $400, which was only a third of what they had taken from us. I believe it was keep your mouth shut money. But then nothing else after that.
