I started the process of loan modifaction approval January. I contacted a HUD-approved counseling agency as well. I faxed my 2nd application packet to National City on 2/17,3rd on 2/28,4th on 3/2,5th on 3/10,6th on 3/24. I keep getting letters asking me to submit an application packet. My HUD-approved counseling agency said they faxed packets also, i even went into my mortage branch here in town and had them fax and mail copies too. The bottom line is the say they never received any of my faxes or mailed packets, even though i have a confirmation letter verifying it. This whole process keeps delaying and delaying. They are a very sad bunch of so called professionals. The only answer i received from someone was that they have a very high volume of applications and they have LOST!!! Quite a few.
