I am a reasonable smart person who needs money very badly. Due to the economy taking all my equity that I brought to my home, I thought this was too good to be true and I was right.
First I filled out their loan application and then I got approved for $45,000.00 and it was sooooo easy. All I had to do was wire a Money Gram to Crystal McElroy in Richmond Canada, she works for the "private lender" the money is coming from. $1832 that I cannot afford to lose.
After three days of no money coming through and about a hundred phone call made by me with no response from them. I finally got a hold of them.
I was told the reason no one could be reached was because one of their lenders had been de-frauded out of $100,000 and it had stopped all their transactions in the Federal Reserve acct. And it would be 5-7 days before it would be released.
I am still waiting, I cannot reach a live person, the address is phony, the phone number is a bust and now my money is in Canada.
Even though I knew this had to be a scam, I wanted it to be real so badly that I convinced myself it was true.
Go with your gut, you know what is right out there.
