I just want to be one more person to back up the decieving nature of PPL. YES this is a very legit company. YES they have been around for 30 years and are publicly traded on the NYSE. YES celebrities are involved with the company. Sound like ear candy right? Plus when the tell you the normal sign-up price to be a seller is $249 and that month they just happen to be discounting it to only $49!!! I mean why not? Well just smack that little mental buzz you just got outta your head cause that's the only high you're gonna receive while working for this company.
If you haven't been to a meeting in a hotel or some random-ass building yet, be relieved. I'll let you know what you are missing ok... You are missing about 20 to 30 people dressed like they are going to the academy awards on a thursday night... Aka your recruiters/sellers. And for every one of those associates or whatever you want to call them, they brought their financially desperate stranger/friend... And little does that person know, after the meeting they will literally be trapped into huddling into small groups and for every "no" you give, the more excited they get and desperate for your "yes". And you know what the scary part is... These sellers/associates come to almost EVERY meeting... Big or small. What's scary about that? Well you would have to be there. When the main speaker gets up there and says that Prepaid legal will be the next big thing... And everyone shouts and claps... You kinda get the feeling you are in a cult. I very much want to call it brainwashing.
It's very easy to get suckered into this system. And yes you can make money... Alot of money actually if you have that special personality. But the whole vibe that this company gives is evil. You can see it in their eyes. But hey maybe you aren't like me at all, and would do whatever it takes to make money. But the way this company is... Well in the beginning you get so desperate that you start turning to friends and family and being slick talking to them about it, when really you just want that 50 bucks back so you can feel better about your decision. And you know what, your friends dont wanna hear you yap about your job... Or "your business".
Btw one last note... The whole "its normally $249 to sign up and this month its $49"... Its BS... Every damn month is $49. I don't even know how some people still support the company after they just got handled like a dummy.
