Abili-Staff, Ltd. MoneyfromHome.com denied access fraud Texas

I signed up for the $69.00 package that encompassed "work from home" jobs and "business opportunities." I signed up based on their 90 day money back guarantee. I paid via PayPal and got quick access to... Junk!

The business section was comprised of "articles" that offered ideas on ways to make extra money — walk dogs, sell things on ebay, start seedling flowers. They didn't go into how to set up a biz or market yourself, just a bunch of generic fluff. There were also affiliate or referrer links to some companies which, if I signed up through the links, would have given Moneyfromhome.com a commission.

The job section itself was a joke. Mostly telemarketer positions or things positions where you send a company $20 to learn how to make barrettes for children and they would pay you $200 for all orders they "accepted".

I had access for 30 days during which time I logged on 6-8 times and looked through all the jobs. Each time I logged in, I would get kicked off after six minutes or so, and would have to log back in to finish looking.

During these 30 days, I didn't see one
update. "Employers" post a description of the job and generally give an hourly dollar amt for the salary. Users then have to click on another link to get company info and contact the "employers". I actually sent out eight inquiries and did not receive one response — not even a "thank you for your email".

I knew the first time I looked at the database that it was not going to be a match for me; I did not want to spend my time telemarketing and talking to people on the phone or selling things for other people, and those are what most of the "jobs" entailed. No problem, because they have a 90 day guarantee, right? Wrong!

The fine print is that you must use the database for 60 days and then prove you did not receive any job from it! I'm thinking that 60 day mark is important because isn't that the last point in time one has to question a charge on their credit card?

In any event, at the 30 day mark I was kicked out of the system and told I needed to contact customer service and that it could take 3 days for them to get back to me!

When I was contacted, I received a hostile email demanding all kinds of specific information (I'll post text to that below), and was told that there are NO REFUNDS for accounts that have been suspended due to misuse! I would have to "answer all questions" before they would consider letting me back into their database!

I had paid via PayPal and had a phone number on my receipt. I called that and let the phone ring off the hook, but nobody answered it. Nobody ever answered it. I responded to their email, answering some of the questions they asked, but others I could not. I was NOT going to give them all kinds of personal info re: my computer and internet connection; I did NOT know the exact number of jobs I clicked on in their database! I had paid for UNLIMITED ACCESS for 1 year! Why would I have kept track.

I demanded my money back. Next thing I get an email welcoming me to their service and saying my account had been billed for their service. I contacted THAT email and told them they better NOT charge me again since I had already paid once and could not even access their database. That person told me that they would not charge me a second time, but in order to even think about getting a refund I needed to fill out all the security questions they had sent me!

I was fuming! I sent three emails to this company, cc-ing all the email accounts I had for them without any response; without any resolution. Finally, I sent an email saying I would be contacting PayPal and disputing it with them if I did not get my money back immediately. Silence.

I contacted PayPal and filled out a dispute. Several hours later I HAD my refund back from this ripoff company. They added a note in the comment section saying that they had tried to access the database from their end with my username and password and had gotten in just fine! Of course they could, THEY are the administrators.

I'm thankful that with PayPal's clout I got reimbursed. If you are thinking about this company, think again. Their "money back" guarantee depends on THEM deciding if you should get it; their customer support is non-existent; their "jobs" are useless. You can do better on Craigslist.

If you have gotten scammed by these people, fight them. First stop is either PayPal or your Credit Card company. PayPal lets you dispute for 45 days. I think Credit Card companies only let you dispute for 60 days — after that, tough luck. I think that is what they count on.

Here is the text from the email they sent me when they kicked me out of their database — note how they want you to respond in 24 hours;
