I have been having problems with hfc also and where i borrowed the money was in burlington, mass. They send checks to consumers and i only wanted to borrow 6,000 not 12,000 and they omitted to tell me you can borrow more to pay other bills also There montly payments were getting too high so i h ad to stop paying a bit but i am paying them 20 each now and they had a debt collector calling me every week also and i had to send a ceist and deceist letter also. They sent a judgement also and i was not a happy camper but neither of them showed up in court so the judge told me to continur to pay them 20 each week until it is paid off. Please i am telling every one do not borrow from HFC there interest rate is too high to begin with and plus it is dam hard to pay them off. I am trying and it is hard.
