My original dealing was with CardService o26072 Merit Cir, Lauguan Hills, California May of 1998 for 24 months lease which was through LeaseComm from my credit card. Never even activated the machine but kept paying the lease because I was told I would own afer 24 months and could sell it.
When I continued to be charge three mos. After the agreed I called and they said I need to buy it out for $199.00 I said noway that wasn't the agreement so I returned to address give an e-commerce address filed a report with the BBB of California. Got a check for the 3 months and thought I was ok.
Never heard anything until I did student loans and they showed up as I owing them $600.00 sent in the update to the credit report that this was all cleared up and I didn't owe.
Fine everything was ok the student loans went through etc.in the mean time 2 years later I clean out old papers and burn all this material ecept for what I have been able to find in Tax paperwork.
Last Oct. I received calls from LeaseComm saying I owe over $2,000.00 I call and tell them I don't think so they tell me that I didn't cancel the lease with them, I tell them I did everything I was told, Name tel.
No and reason for returning when the equipment was returned and I don't owe this end of that. Well the letters came saying I can not cancel and that they will put this on my creidt report, sure enough they did. I get new calls from new people and I go through the same Information.
Recently a Fred Grenier has been calling and offered to take a few hundred dollars off. No way and that E-commerce are sleazy they probably have lease my machine to someone else and I should call a Trevor Cross and that in 60 days they will be filing court papers on me.
Wednesday I received somewhat of a Statement also with buy out charges. I told Mr. Grenier that we should be working with all three States Maine, Mass and CAlifornia attorney general to get these sleaze bags as he called them.
He got real quiet and I offered no more comments trying to trap him. I don't know how these people sleep at night. I'm not paying a dam dime more.
