I hired jk harris to resolve my problems with the irs. At the time that i hired them back in 2002 i was already paying them 50.00 per month that the irs and i agreed that i could pay until the 5,000 that i owed them at the time. After hiring jk harris i paid them $400.00 on a monthly basis and also a $15.00 per month administrative fee which they told me i had to pay because i was not paying the entire 2,500 in cash which was the amount that they charged me for their services in full. They told me that they would start working on my case right away. I started calling jk harris on a weekly basis to see how my case was going. I never received a response and of course i started getting very angry and suspicious. I left hundreds of messages and then finally 6 months later i received a letter from jk harris company not the irs stating that my offer in compromise was denied. I was shocked after paying john k. Harris all that money and then it was denied. I then called the stealing john k harris company again and of course i never spoke to anyone again. I i then called the irs and the irs informed me that they never had any type of contact with john k. Harris and that they most likely took my money and never performed any services and i at that point believed them. I tried taking them to court and the court notified me at that time that they were in a class action lawsuit. A couple of months later i received something from the crazy company about the class action lawsuit. I sent in the papers that they sent me and waited. Then i read online a few months later stating that the class action lawsuit was settled and within a year that some of the money that i paid would be returned to me. Well guess what yesterday february 17, i received a letter explaining everything and when i will receive more money in another year starting 2010 through 2012. Well guess what i was shocked about that and very shock to received my first check for $14.35. I could not believe it, all i could do was cry again almost all day. I could not believe that a judge would allow a very bad company like jk harris to do this to consumers and then continue to operate and steal from more people. I read on line that he is continuing to do this to people and people are continuing to complaint about him on line. This horrible so called company need to be closed down this is not right. Most of the old and new complaints people could not afford to pay this outrages prices but they do it anyway because none of us want to deal with the irs. The monies that people pay his crooked company could have been paid to the irs and that is so cold hearted for him to be able to continue to steal from people and smile about it on tv. What can we do to get this company closed down and get all out money back. This is really wrong and unlawful. This is considered a crime and he need to go to jail for this. This is an illegal scam and the people that we depend on to help us the courts are continuing to let him get away with this. What now. Someone please help us!
