This company did not report to the credit bureau abt my car payoff texas

I bought a car in texas in dec of 1999 and the bank name was FSB Financial and paid that bank a monthly payment of $486.21 for 2 yrstill 2002 when they transferred my loan to Consumer Portfolio Services whit whom i finally paid my remaining loan with the co till 2006 when the car was finally paid of. But this co did not report it to the credit bureau that my car was paid off and nothing was pending. When i look at my credit report its says the account is still open so if u could please help me out or suggest how do i go forward with it thank u
