I have been a customer of bankofamerica since 2005... I noticed throughout the years I have probably paid more in OD charges than at any other bank I have accounts with (1 overdraft elsewhere = 100 OD's at boa)... I mean this is rediculous. You check your balance, you know what you've used BUT yet it seems something always triggers an overdraft... I honestly think that this is a normal pratice for them... I just ignored it. But what just happened to me today has forced me to empty my accounts and not use them again...
I just checked my savings account this morning as I usually do at least once a week "just checking on my rainy day fund" i had a total of $2100.00 put away... Which TO ME having a family of 6 and being 28yrs old is a good amount of money...
I logged into my account to check my credit as I have "privacy assist aswell" when I saw a withdrawl from my savings. I checked it and to my horror it was a pending transaction in the amount of $860... I damn near jumped out of my seat... I immediately left work drove STRAIGHT to the ben holt branch here in stockton to find out what they are doing with my money... SINCE I KNEW i did not authorize it...
They told me it was a bank of america transaction but it is pending and they dont know what it is from... I would have to come back tomorrow to find out. This is B.S...
If it was from this bank how can you not know what this amount was deducted for?
I withdrew all of the rest of my money from my accounts and I am going back tomorrow to find out what they say... I will keep you posted..
How can they just take money from you like that???
