Conseco contacted me about refinancing my house. They assured me that the payments would be lower than what I had. When the loan went through, they were higher and at a 14% interest rate. I tried my best to keep the payments up but I couldn't. There wasn't enough money to go around. I also had my mother here who was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and I was out of work some and I just got behind. I called and begged them to lower the payments for me, but they wouldn't So, I decided to sell the house.
Now they are trying to add outrageous fees and other crap to the payoff on my loan. I originally got the loan for $85,000 and now they say I owe in excess of 103,000. They have ruined my credit and I am not going to clear anything from the sell of my house. I won't even have enough to buy land anywhere. Now, I have finally got the house sold and no money or no where to go, and they are telling the real estate agent that they have already served me with foreclosure papers and no such papers have come to my house.
One other time they took money out of my daughter's checking account without my or her permission to get a payment. Ain't that some crap!!!
