Took advantage of a person in need, on their birthday. Too late for me

My story is the exact same as the first report on this company, except they solicited me via telephone. I am not sure how they got my number or the amount of the loan I was requesting from a different company.

I was promised by a Mr. Tyler Beasley (extension 342) that I would receive my loan the next day, which was my birthday (shame on you for having the gall to wish me a happy birthday when I called asking where my money was). He said that my file had been "sent down to customer service" and he no longer had access to it.

With a lot of pushing, he agreed to go to that department and have them call me to tell me the status. I had called and left numerous urgent messages and pages for the customer service department and never received a call back. (their extension is 180).

Almost a week later, Mr. Beasley advised me that the lender was requiring an additional security before they could release my funds. Mind you, I already sent 950.00 via Moneygram as my security deposit. (stupid again: to Ontario, Canada and an individual, not a company) Now they were asking for an additional 1100.00. They told me that it was the lender who was demanding the additional funds. Mr. Beasley told me that this had never happened in his experience before and that it was not the company's fault.

In the last week I have given Omega One Loans multiple opportunities to contact me and straighten things out. Now I am starting my campaign for justice here. Next is the Federal Trade Commision, BBB, Attorney General, Chamber of Commerce, District Court for a civil suit and a phone call to a good attorney.

My advice now is, if you are offered a large loan and have poor credit: beware. Never send money up front as "insurance" "collateral" or "security". I have read other stories like mine and it's always the same.

Omega One Loans are con-artists preying on people who need help the most. May justice and Karma come round to you.

Stupidly, I finally demanded a full refund of 950.00. I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks for me to receive. It is now over a month and I've received nothing. I call Mr. Beasley and the Customer Service Department almost daily and have not had a single answer or call back.
