I heard about this product, Acaiaslim, and that you could receive a free bottle and pay just 4.99 for postage. I placed an order for a bottle. When I received my Discover card I found I was charged $79.95 for this product. I called the office at 877-317-0189. I believe the person I talked to was named Connie. She explained the free trial offer was limited to a certain number of days. Then you would be charged the full price for the bottle. I asked her where it said that. She told me to look under terms. This information was not anywhere near the place where you ordered the product. It was also in very small print. I immediately went to their web site to make sure I canceled any further bottles.
Today, Jan. 21, I received another bottle and had my Discover card charged another $79.95. I notified Discover Card that I did not want to pay for this item. I have not heard from Discover Card yet. I noticed many places on the web where people talked about this being a scam. I do not want any more to do with this company. I will contact our TV station if I need to. They have a person who helps people with situations like this.
I will call the company tomorrow and see what they say about this.
