Maverick Management, Larry Hahn, Courtney Holmes, Bernard Horne, Andre Rivera, Scentura
Scam, lie, manager, branch manager, own keys

Okay, so here is my story...

Tuesday I was looking online on Craigs List at the help wanted. I seen an ad that read: Manager Needed. 18-25 for expansion. No experience neccesary. Please call 412-279-5444. So, I called this number. This guy (Andre) answered and said I could come in right away! So, I went in. I believe I was set to get there at 1. Anywho...

I go in. Sit down and wait a few minutes. While in the place they are playing really loud rap music. Then Andre comes in and takes me and this other girl into this room. Sits us down and really says nothing about the job itself. Just asked us if we could work m-f and so on. Of course, I said yes. So, he says if they liked me they will call between 5 and 5:30. So, later that night around 5:30 - they of course did call. I called back and was asked to come back to the 2nd interview on Thursday.

So, Thursday rolls around. I'm all hyped. Was told to 'dress sharp and bring a pen and paper for notes'. I walk in with my pen and paper in my purse. Sit down and there were about 10 people there. So, we all go into this room with cheap, white, plastic, lawn type chairs in the room. Very uncomfy. We all sit there and listen to this Courtney girl ramble on about this Larry Hahn guy. Larry does this, Larry does that, and so on. WHO CARES, right?

Still, at this point... Really not saying much about the position that I would be working for if accepted. So, at the end of the 2 1/2 hour thing I was asked out of the room. Thought I got 'eliminated'... Well, I was advised that I was offered the position. So, here I am... 21 years old, thinking that starting Monday I was going to be training to be a manager! How cool is that?

Well, what they did was give us this 'screening sheet' which asked like... Your name, address, phone number, ssn, license number, license plate, make/model of car, etc... Said to fax it in by 10am the next day or they will think that we were not interested in the job. So, right after I leave this place I go to this place to fax the paper... The fax won't go through. Hmmm, I thought to myself. I called the place back and verified the number... And tried the fax again. 2nd time... No go. Called again, Courtney goes "Ohh, our fax machine is down!" So, she advises me that I could take it in. And with that, I did right what she asked.

While I was taking it in... I noticed that they spelled MANAGEMENT wrong... They forgot the E. Okay, I though... Typo. It happens. So, I took the paper in and left. I then called that girl who was in there with me and we were talking about how suspicious it all sounded... Well, she had called the BBB and they knew NOTHING about this place... Yet they claimed to be a Fortune 500 Company. Right! I then got home and figured I would google it to see what I find... When googling "Maverick Management"... I got nothing. I then remembered the name LARRY HAHN... I googled that and got directed to this site. I read about 10 horror stories and realized that it was nothing but a scam.

I did call the police to take steps to protect my idenity... However, I am thinking... What if the other people in the class weren't smart enough to suspect that they are shady? What if they give out all their info and get their idenity stolen? These people are scams and something needs to be done with them. They seem to target the younger crowd!
