Paid over $22,800 to reinstate my loan 2 months later they file a Notice of Default to the tune of $10,500. Called for weeks and sent a request for accounting. What a joke.
I then rescinded my loan under the Truth in Lending Laws USC 1635 before my right to do so expired. I had arranged a new loan for considerable less than their backbreaking 14.5% variable that could only go up. Even though interest rates were at an all time low, My loan stayed at 14.5%.
After I sent notice of rescission. They replied by sending me a notice of sale about a week later. Finally I filed for Bankruptcy Protection (Chapter 13) Didn't matter they sold my home anyways. My lawyer made some telephone calls and told me they would void the sale. I got a letter from the trustee confirming that the sale would be voided and the money returned to the buyer. (Who had started eviction proceedings) Then for over 18 months I paid through the Chapter 13 plan. When I was dismissed for unrelated issues.
I searched for a new loan. (I had over $128,000.00) in equity and got approved for a loan shortly thereafter. Ocwen delayed giving new company payoff information. When they finally did it was at least $12,000 in Bogus fees. But I was in for even more surprises. The Title was kept in the name of the buyers at the previous foreclosure sale.
The one that they "voided". Now I knew for certain. These people know exactly what they are doing I had thought that these people were just extrodinarily incompetent. These people are bankers like I am Bill Gates. -There real business is equity stripping.
Then because title was not in my name the new loan company was prevented for the refinance. Then good old Ocwen sold it again to a new buyer at another FC Sale. I don't understand how they can break Federal law, Bankruptcy Law, and State Law and natural law without consequences.
