Derek carson and his friends pray on desparate people

I nearly fell victim to the Hudson Lending Group as represented by a smooth talking guy named Derek Carson. I am desparate to get my bills caught up and submitted a request for a loan. I was contacted by Carson on 10/24 and told that I qualified for a $5000 loan from an independant lender. I was skeptical but went along with the ride. We talked about the loan and he informed me that due to the lending crisis and my poor credit risk that I would have to come up with 6 months of payments, totaling $911, as a security deposit. I had applied online for a $2500 loan. Here this guy was asking me to send him nearly 1/2 of what I realy needed to secure a loan for double what I needed. I told him at this point that it would be crazy for me to send him that kind of money and not use it for my bills. He kept talking and drawing me in to the scam. The security deposit would be used for the first 6 months of my payments and I wouldn't have to make a payment until May. I'd have extra for the holidays. I'd have a nest egg. I asked him for a website because I wanted to investigate his company because I was leary of the too good to be true plan he was setting up. He gave me the web address. To say the least the website is not impressive and could be created by almost anyone. Not much information and no list of employees, no real contact info just a blanket e-mail that can go anywhere. I called him back and asked for him to send me the loan documents. He faxed them but his fax machine was not working well so he had to send the pages one at a time and the form was only 3 pages long. It didn't look like any loan documents I had ever seen before. I used to work at a bank and I know that loan documents are long and spell out all the legal stuff about the loan. This loan document was written in simple english and was short (too short). Not only that — it wasn't signed by Derek or anyone — only initialed by someone that hadn't even been mentioned. Well, I knew this was a scam at this point, but I wanted to see how far this guy would go. I called back and said that I wanted the loan. Before that sentence was out of my mouth, Derek was asking for my routing and bank account numbers. Then he proceeded to give me the information for Samantha Grant from Winnipeg Manatoba — this was where I was to moneygram my security to. I asked for a direct line so I could contact Samantha myself and that I wanted a signed letter from him about all the disclosures he had just stated to me. He was taken back for a moment and I heard rustling of paper (probably as he searched for the script for such a request). He cleared his throat and stated that Samantha Grant was the private lender that they worked for and she didn't do business with people, they were the middleman and who I was going to get to speak to. So, again, I asked him to send me a signed letter disclosing our conversation and everything we had spoke about. At this point he said that was not how they opperated, that I had the contract and that was all I was going to get. Having done my research, I felt this was the only honest thing that Derek Carson had ever said to me. I knew that they would take my security deposit and then ask for more and I would never see the loan or a refund. I had had enough with these people who prey on desparate people in need of help. I replied to Derek, "How do you sleep at night? I know that you are attempting to scam me and have hurt many other people. It will not work with me and I hope that you one day meet your judgement. I will survive but I think your soul is lost." I hung up.

Please do not fall for this scam!!! If I can help one person not get taken by these worthless people then that is why I am here.

I will be fine — please listen to the complaints about this scam — you don't need their help — it isn't going to help you!!
