We have stayed with Chase bank for many years as we have a LOC there. We have tried to negotiate the high interest and will see what they will do. But, we also kept a small checking account there. Two years ago they started charging $8 fee if you didn't keep a balance above a certain amount. (We rarely did).
Last month they raised the fee to $14.00. What a rip-off for a perfect account, no overdrawn checks, etc.
I wonder if anyone knows how to get the LOC interest rate down. We haven't missed a payment in 10 years... And oh... The wasted money. But that is how it is.
