My name is Amy and I am a single mom of four kids. I have always been a very hard worker and set realistic goals for my family and I. I purchased my home at the age of 23 and owned my house for five years and was very proud. I worked very hard in the medical field which is what helped me get this home and make steady payments.
In 2006 I got laid off and there was a shortage in the field for my position. I had made it to the top of my pay scale and the amount that was being offered to my position was unrealistic. So I had to figure out something. The Government then decided that I needed to go through workers retraining and find another field. So pretty much to make a long story short I went through college and have a whole new degree.
But while in college I contacted Litton I told them my situation and pretty much they cared less. I asked if there was some program that I could apply for that would lower my interest rate so that I would be able to afford my home. They told me that because I had no income that there was no way a program would consider this.
I have been trying to work with Litton for over a year now and they have nothing to say other than if you cannot make your $2010 payment then your house is going to be foreclosed. This is very unfortunate!!! I now had to move out of my home and am crammed in a tiny apartment with four kids and still am having a hard time because Litton Loan has forced me out of my home and my credit is ruined. They are in the middle of foreclosing the property.
I have no one willing to work with me and so all my hard work is now down the drain... My kids have lost the only house they know and for what? This great company is heartless, and could careless...
